The logistics industry is already heavily reliant on digital technology – with various aspects of the supply chain already automated. As technology advances, expanding knowledge and skills around digital technology will be vital in keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly. This qualification is designed for those working in the logistics sector, looking to enhance their digital literacy skills, supporting individuals with current job roles or providing the opportunity for progression into a role where digital skills are required.

This free course is split into 4 manageable units:

  1. Understand how to protect devices and data
  2. Communicate socially and professionally using technology
  3. Apply digital skills in personal and business situations
  4. Use digital resources to facilitate their own career progression
  • Gain a nationally recognised qualification
  • Improve your skills to help create a long-standing career pathway in your chosen industry
  • Courses are delivered as distance learning, allowing you to choose when and where to study
  • Personal tutors are assigned to ensure you have the support needed to succeed

Fully funded subject to meeting the eligibility criteria:

  • Been in the UK or EU for three years for purposes other than study
  • 19+ at the start of the academic year (19-23-year-olds must have Level 2 prior attainment)
  • Not on an apprenticeship
  • Not completed any part of the course before

 

Excluding the following devolved combined authorities: Liverpool, Manchester, Sheffield, North Tyne, Bristol/Bath & West Midlands.
