Technology-enabled care is playing an increasing role in health and social care.
Over 1.7 million vulnerable people in the UK rely on technology-enabled care to support independence in their own homes – avoiding care homes, hospitals or home care. Developed in partnership with the TEC Services Association, this qualification is aligned to all health and social care roles and is designed to give learners the skills and knowledge to effectively assess needs and recommend appropriate technology solutions to help maintain dignity and reduce dependence on external provision.
