Workplace Violence and Harassment

Workplace violence and Harassment can have huge consequences for employers, employees and the work environment.

The Trades Union Congress (TUC) estimates that 29% of people have been bullied at work, and more than 1 in 3 people who report being bullied leave their job because of it.

Understanding about effective communication and ways to reduce conflict in the workplace will help to create a more positive working environment, benefiting both employers and employees, and improving job satisfaction, health and well-being, and productivity.

This free course is split into 4 manageable units:

  1. How to contribute to a positive and safe working environment
  2. How to reduce and effectively deal with violence in the workplace
  3. Understanding aggression, bullying and harassment in the workplace and how it can be prevented
  4. Understanding equality, diversity and inclusion in the workplace and the benefits to individuals and organisations
  • Gain a nationally recognised qualification
  • Improve your skills to help create a long-standing career pathway in your chosen industry
  • Courses are delivered as distance learning, allowing you to choose when and where to study
  • Personal tutors are assigned to ensure you have the support needed to succeed

Fully funded subject to meeting the eligibility criteria:

  • Been in the UK or EU for three years for purposes other than study
  • 19+ at the start of the academic year (19-23-year-olds must have Level 2 prior attainment)
  • Not on an apprenticeship
  • Not completed any part of the course before
